I'd recommend Go Outdoors as a showroom, a place to see, touch and feel the goods before purchase. If you are lucky enough to choose something that is in stock then the shopping experience could be good.
In my case, I've decided to make the purchase online and I was very disappointed when I tried to complete my order (camping gear, about 10 items) and found out that many items where only available to buy on a specific shop. Worse still, when I called a shopping in London about a tent listed as available there, it turns out the system was not updated and not even them had the item.
Very frustrating because it took me a lot of time to make up my mind on all 10 items I've decided to buy only to find out I had to start all over again.
The delivery was a disaster. UK Mail sent me 2 texts/emails informing 2 different time slots. The tracking system informed a 3rd time slot which I assumed to be correct one (no way of speaking with anyone on the phone). Turns out the 1st txt was correct and we missed the delivery. Tried to reschedule, didn't work, ended up collecting it from the depot to avoid further disappointments.
