I reserved an item online after having been told it was in stock and subsequently received a confirmatory email. After a 40 minute drive to the Harlow store I was informed that it wasn't in fact in stock; indeed, that items often appear to be available when there is in fact only a (often damaged) display item. Two hours after leaving I arrived home empty handed. My first email complaint was ignored; my second attracted a standard reply. A telephone call resulted in an offer of a 10% discount, scant compensation for the wasted time (especially given that they are obviously aware of the problem and therefore culpable). I would never deal with this company again, whatever saving was on offer.
