I placed an order with Go Outdoors for 3 pairs of walking trousers and walking shoes. The 1st confirmation said no shoes were available. The 2nd confirmation said shoes were available and dispatched with rest of order and I was charged for all items.
The company used for deliveries failed to turn up within the time specified. They were extremely difficult to contact to reorganise deliver - no telephone number, had to send an email message. This was not responded to and the next morning I eventually found a no to telephone them. Only to be told that their systems were down to phone back in 50 mins. When I phoned back later the systems were still down so they could not confirm any delivery times or take any delivery instructions re leaving in a safe place if not in. I then phoned Go Outdoors who said they would try to contact the delivery company and pass on instructions. I stayed in all day awaiting delivery but nothing. When I phoned at 6pm I was told that delivery was attempted at 2pm. As I was here all day and there was no card put through the letter box this was obviously a lie. When I pointed this out I was told maybe the driver had run out of cards!! I then phoned Go Outdoors and cancelled the order. The next day the order was delivered, without the shoes, which I had paid for. When I contacted Go Outdoors to rectify this I was told I would have to scan a copy of the delivery note to them to prove the shoes were not in the order. I did this immediately and asked for confirmation of receipt. By the next day I still hadnt received this confirmation and phoned Go Outdoors again. I was told the girl I had scanned the delivery note to would phone me back immediately she was off the phone, she did not I had to phone again and was put through to her when she confirmed she had received my scanned delivery note and the money paid for the shoes would be refunded, which it was.
I made a point of explaining from the beginning that I had no mobile phone service and asked them to phone my landline yet the delivery company kept texting me the times they would be delivering which I did not receive until I had service on my phone - a few days after the event. Of course this didn't matter as the 1st delivery was attempted at least 1 hour before the scheduled time!

All in all a disaster, if Go Outdoors continues to use this delivery company I would never order from them again.
