I bought some hiking/walking boots in March 2014. I wore them around the house to break them in but after a few hours, developed a sore place on my right foot. I used plasters, corn plasters and thicker socks but it made no difference. I gave up trying to break them in. On the off-chance, I took them back to the shop, explained and even though this was a month after purchase, the manager straight away said I could exchange them.
I chose a more expensive pair as the originals were no longer for sale. I was delighted that I was able to return the boots.
The staff who helped me with my new purchase were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. (As they were the first time too).
