We used go outdoors recently to purchase a new waterproof coat. As this is our local outdoor shop its nice to be able to go in and try on the clothing, no one likes a poor fitting piece of kit when out in the hills. But as is always the way when looking around to see what the price is else where (online) we found the same item cheaper. No problem, we simply went to go outdoors, showed them the website, they verified that this was indeed the case (the cheaper price has to include all charges such as postage not just the headline cost) and they gave us the coat for the cheaper price less an additional 10%. This all happened in the store, was very efficient, all in all a great system that works well.
