Price matched tent

Outwell Nevada MP tent (although the store/head office are adamant it is the Nevada M )?!
We bought a tent from the Milton Keynes branch, where the staff seemed a little vague on the item we were buying. We have never priced matched any item before, so this was a first for us and it was also a rather large difference.
My husband contacted GO and followed the procedure for a refund and after much too-ing and fro-ing it was agreed.
Basically they were adamant that they do not sell the item we purchased (same issue we had instore), as it would appear they had in stock an item they perhaps were not aware of and selling it as a different model?!
Anyway, after going back to a local branch of GO, we did receive the price match refund as promised, but got the impression that the staff are not overly happy about issuing these, as the attitude was rather abrupt at the checkout.
Not particularly bothered as we got our money refunded, but as we have bought quite a few items from GO over the last few years, was a little annoyed at the service, when trying to pursue something that GO offer to do.
I guess they hope people will not price match perhaps, but then don't make a big statement at doing this if not happy to oblige.
