“Prices on display are wrong”

Went to buy a Swiss Army knife, shelf price was £25, there were no other notices. Went to the till was charged £30 because I didn't have a membership card. Nowhere in the store is there a notice saying prices on the shelves are for members only. I think this is classic 'misselling' and have advised the OFT.
Yes, I know I could have joined their little scheme for £5 and been no worse off but I refused on principle.

Everything inthe store has twwo prices on it. Everything! on the items that are on pegs I agree that the rrp is small, i think a combination between limited space on pegs and bad signage layout is to blame. But all things have two prices on it, plus around the store there is signage about the discount card everywhere. Behind the tills in most stores there is a sign about 3.5ft by 8ft telling you about the card.
