“Loyalty card”

I have used the Wakefield store store on a number of occasions. The last 3 times (all in the same year) I have been told that my loyalty card has expired & I need to purchase another one. It was fortunate I had kept the proof of purchase for my card otherwise they would have charged me again. The store refused to issue me with a card with an expiry date on so all I have is a number on a piece of paper. If this has happened to other customers how many people are this company falsely charging for their loyalty card?

Sorry to hear that you had problems with your discount card. Did you speak to a store manager at the time you had the issue as they would quite easily be able to sort this out for you, especially if you had proof that you had renewed within the last 12 months. Please be assured that this seems to be an isolated issue and I am sure that the Wakefield team would only be too happy to resolve it for you.

The card will not have an expiry date printed on them because the date you renew your card the following year might change for example you brought a card 3/3/2012 the following year you come to the store 4/3/2013 you renew your card again so the date the card expires the following year will be 4/3/2014.

However, if you think your card has expired never say can i have a new card . because two cards registered to one address will confuse the system and wipe your details off and therefore each time you come into the store it will say card expired. Always always renew the same card.

If you're having issues with your Discount Card you can always call up our customer service team for clarification on expiry dates, there may be an issue with the registering of the card which is why this issue has occurred.
