My rear wheel was buckled by a thief during an attempted robbery of my bike at my place of work.
Evans were very helpful and informative and ordered me a replacement rear wheel that day (Tuesday) which should arrive within 2 days (Thursday). So far, so good.
2 days later I call up for an update and I am advised it hasn't arrived, try tomorrow (Friday).
This I do. Same scripthing of it not arriving and I should try again on Monday.
Try again on Monday...same again. Try Wednesday.
Tried Wednesday and I am advised it should definitely arrive tomorrow (Thursday).
Ring on Thursday and it is done and ready for collection.
9 days is 7 days too long. Especially as the plot thickened when I collected my bike and was told that a wheel did arrive in the first instance but it was the wrong size. Then the replacement for this mistake arrived but was for a front wheel and the eventually we wend our way to the problem being sorted and right wheel in the right size for the right end of the bike arrived.
I am pleased to have my bike back and the repair is good. But the inconvenience was too great for a better rating or review.
