I paid £34.99 for Saturday delivery, waited in all day and the bike never came.
Bike still didn't come the following Monday, or Tuesday. Wednesday they attempted to deliver during the day while I'm at work (which is why I paid for Saturday delivery in the first place). When I finished work I managed to call the driver and plead with him to drop it off at work, he resisted saying he wanted to 'go home'.
Eventually he delivered the bike to my work. By which point they hadn't refunded my Saturday delivery payment even though they said they would.
There was an item missing from the delivery - a tool necessary to assemble the bike, this arrived a full 11 days after original order being shipped.
After riding the bike it was clear that the gears weren't indexed properly.
And the rack I bought had been mis-sold as it didn't fit!
Several calls later and they asked me to take the bike to the nearest store - 100 miles away in Bristol!
I am going to call Evans Cycles to get some compensation. Wish me luck...
