I ordered a Brompton, beginning of May, with Ti parts. Originally quoted 6 weeks. The on going wait is not Evans' fault, but Brompton, who sold me something for which they did not have parts. So far so good.
However: Evans did not provide me with calls after "let me check and get back to you". That is poor after sales service (the before-sales service was excellent).
And what is intensely irritating and stupid, is that the bicycle cannot be delivered to a different store. In the meantime (after4 months, let us not forget) I have moved, and the trip to the original store is both a nuisance and a cost. This is ridiculous. Oh, and they originally had said that they would indeed re-route the delivery to anothe store closer to my current location.
