A truly diabolical company , after doing research I ordered the sevylor riviera kayak which didn’t arrive in the 5-7 working days as promised .when it finally arrived , I unpacked it then decided it wasn’t really suitable for my needs and decided to re pack it with a view to sending it back . When I contacted the company they weren’t interested , saying I couldn’t return if it had been opened even though I hadn’t even used it . I even offered to forego part of the refund to compensate for re packaging but they wouldn’t alter their position . The worst thing about their response was that they said I should have viewed the kayak before buying -not really possible during a world wide pandemic Shocking customer service -do yourselves a favour everyone and buy from somewhere else

Ordered a kayak but never received it. Chased them down after a week of no show only to be told over email that they can't fulfil my order. Their website says they have a perfect 9.3 score with 1739 reviews - Trustpilot has 4 reviews and all are negative. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought an Ottawa kayak. Arrived promptly. Pressure gauge faulty. You cant speak to anyone in person/ nobody has replied to email or the live chat they offer. I can’t believe a company can be run like this. I’m dreading anything big going wrong with it. I would have bought from another company for peace of mind. In the end I’ got in tough with Meridianzero who were great and responsive and are sending me another gauge

I placed an order for Sevylor Carry Pack and received an acknowledgement. Four days later I received an email stating my money had been refunded. No explanation offered. None of my subsequent phone calls were answered, or voicemail request for a return call responded to. Looking elsewhere, it seems this item has been discontinued although it is still shown as In Stock on Aquascene's website. Combined with the £12 delivery charge for a £30 item, this overall experience will prevent me from dealing with Aquascene in future.

Having been let down badly by AthleteShop I turned to Aquascene and found them really helpful with questions I had about the Sevylor kayak I wanted. I ordered and received the item within 2or 3 days. Great service!

What a great service I have received. I firstly phoned to order the SEVYLOR OTTAWA , and had a chat to a man who pointed out some issues with it at the moment. So grateful for his advice which I did not get from other companies who were happy to sell me the OTTAWA. So I ended up with the SEVYLOR ALAMEDA PREMIUM KIT instead . Not only a good service but the most reasonable and competitive prices I could find on the net . I received the kayak within two days These guys deserve praise

I ordered paddles for a Christmas present and when we opened them on Christmas Day the aluminium tube where the paddles join together had a 6 inch flattened section and are therefore useless as they won’t join. Tried 24 helpline several times with no answer and was eventually told by email that too much time had elapsed to exchange them. It takes a lot of force to flatten a circular tube so can only assume they are sent out like this. Very disappointed with product and service.

This was my first inflatable kayak purchase - I had initially looked at some of the larger online stores (Decathlon etc.) but found that nobody could offer me any real advice or service. Upon contacting Aquascene, I spoke to a man called Declan who was highly personable and guided me in the right direction to purchase the right kayak for what I wanted. The advice was absolutely top notch and my order arrived the next day. I can't wait to get out on the water - thanks Aquascene and Declan

Wanted a kayak in time for my son's birthday and Aquascene went the extra mile to make sure it got there just in time. Upon opening the kayak and inflating in the lounge, it looks even better in the flesh and feel rock solid! I didn't ask for anything, but because it was a birthday gift they threw in a free electric pump and a message. Fab fab fab! Thank you! Recommend highly.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!!!!! WORST Customer service from DECLAN,could not even be bothered reading the complaint properly. NEVER buy from this company. Returned an Alameda kayak letting in huge amounts of water through the seam in slightly choppy water. Kayak exchanged by the person I dealt with for another Kayak even though he knew it would do the same thing.refused to refund even though second kayak never used, disgusting treatment from a person who couldn't care less.

This review will help all buyers of Canoe's and accessories to make the right decision by buying from Aquascene. They are helpful and do what they say they will do. Placed my order for 2 x Alameda Premium Canoes, 2 x Baltic Life vests, 2 x Bravo 230cm Fiberglass paddles and a Sevelor convertible paddle, plus 2 x Bravo 6 pumps. All items arrived within 2 days, they were all bubble wrapped and boxed so everything was perfect. Saw the canoes on line with Atherleate shop and CNF Outdoors and then read the reviews. They are not good, delivery dates extended and extended and extended and then not arriving at all. Purchasers asking for their money back and having to chase to get some action. So deal with Aquascene and avoid all these problems. Special thanks for speaking to me on a Sunday how is that for service. Thank you for all the advice, wish I could give more than 5 Stars

So, I don't often write these things, but I am minded to now. Just bought a Sevylor kayak kit. I'd been looking around for quite sometime and there were lots of online places, some of which looked less reputable than others. Contacted Declan directly and we spoke on the phone. made some great suggestions and based on that I placed an online order. Everything arrived on time. All fine, apart from 1 paddle that had obviously been damaged in transit. So yesterday I emailed Aquascene to ask what thew best thing to do, and lo and behold, today a new paddle arrived. No questions asked. I made a good choice using Aquascene, and will use them again as recommend them to others.

Advice was second to none - no one was able to help as much as these guys. Ordered the Alameda Kit 1 on thurs and it all turned up Fri as promised, just in time for a good weekend in the sun. Having been out playing on the kayak with my family it's exceeded all expectations. Bravo! great little shop.

I want to say a massive thank you to Declan who helped me out via emails to deal with an enquiry I made about a kayak I bought, his advice was friendly and easy to understand and he helped me solve my problem in no time at all and I had such a good time with my new kayak, sevylors are top quality if you get the right one for your type of activity and its best to get some advice first from the expert (Declan) to ensure you get exactly what you need. Delivery time was superb and speedy and it was well packaged. Top class, very happy customer :)

I bought an Ottawa and the boat was delivered quickly. Tested it indoors and was packing away when I saw the dry bag was damaged and had two holes in it. I wasn't able to speak to anyone as the phone kept going to answer phone so e-mailed. Response was quick requesting photos so I forwarded some. The problem was that there was no response to the second e-mail and after phoning at all times of the day and getting the answer phone was starting to get concerned with Aquascene. I ended up e-mailing again and to be fair on the chap he e-mailed whilst on holiday in America and let me know he would chase the supplier for another dry bag. The bag was sent and all's well. I presume the service went a little pear shaped due to the holiday, but all was sorted out pretty promptly. It would have just helped if I had been informed that I would be sent another dry bag and when to expect it. On the whole not a bad service, just better communication would help if there is an issue. Would still recommend.

Just bought the Sevylor Ottawa canoe and was very happy with the service and speed of dispatch using Aquascene. Bought the package deal which was a little dearer than buying individual items from across several different retailers but you have the benefit of extended warranty and they did manage to reduce the price a little as good will. So well done Aquascene its 5* from me.
