I had 2 lessons with an instructor and he showed me what I was doing wrong in my set up to the ball. With the advice he gave me and then some practice I could see real improvement in my swing and ball striking. I will be booking some more lessons. Having submitted full details by e-mail of second hand clubs I had for sale or trade in, I received an e-mail offer of cash £85 for specified clubs or £110 for all I had - 9 clubs in all. My first experience of the setup at Affordable golf was great. He went through the list of my problems which I have endured for many yes and has given me a couple of innovative drills to help start to address them without managing to confuse me. You don't miss the traditional range setup, the technology is fabulous and it's so nice to have a lesson in doors when the wind chill is -3 outside. The equipment used by the pro helps identify key areas of the golf shot that should be addressed in order to improve your game. Thank you for your feedback. The price we quote on email is based on the information provided by the seller, this includes the condition of the clubs. What has happened is that the condition quoted and what was presented in store differed.
We do pay cash for clubs, this is dependent on what is being sold. With some brands we need to contact the supplier to ensure we aren't buying counterfeit, often they take 24hrs to respond. We have a lot of people looking for similar deals and as you would understand it takes time to go over all the clubs, checking authenticity and researching costs. With regards to the delay in the cheque I can only apologise, this is not our normal time scale, we do make every effort to have cheques sent promptly.
