First time golf lesson

I was given a couple of golf lessons as a gift at 54 and been playing golf (badly ) for 15 years I was reluctant to use them .i was very glad I did I had never been to affordable golf before , and found the staff very helpfully and friendly my lesson was with [name removed] who took the time to find out about me my golf and what I would like to get from my lessons I had never learnt the basic set up so as I said my golf was bad I love the game but was never consistent [name removed] took a great deal of time to show me how to set my stance and ball line up and my biggest hang up how for to stand away from the ball, it felt strange for a while but now have a routine to practice I am back in three weeks for another lesson really looking forward to it .
