I visited the shuropody shop inside of Wyevale garden centre gosforth. My 90yr old mother had her feet measured and tried multiple pairs of shoes. We only intended to have my mother's feet measured at this time. My mother a former shop owner herself was delighted by the service of the sales assistant as was I myself. Nothing was too much for this lady to do for us and time was unlimited to serving us. We left the shop with 3 pairs of shoes and a very satisfied 90 year old lady. My compliments to the sales assistant who is a credit to her employer.

I bought 2 pairs of orthotics online from Shuropody, having already bought a pair before from their store but I had no time to make the trip there. They took a week to arrive, despite a delivery charge of £3.60. I made a mistake over the sizing (foolishly assuming the middle one of 3 sizes would be 'medium') - my bad, I should have been more careful, but their attitude about changing them was awful. 'No exchanges - hygiene grounds'. I never even opened the packet! When I tried again in person at their shop, they were equally intransigent, though it was obvious they were untouched - 'company policy - no exchanges'. Thanks for that Shuropody, don't expect to ever hear from me again. To top it all, I now find I could have bought the identical product for half the money from another online supplier. Companies like this just don't deserve to be in business.
