Ordered a pair of Ash VIBRATION grey canvas studded trainers after seeing a friend's. They're just such fun and even at my age (!), I'm going to enjoy wearing these with a pair of slim trousers and feel good. I own several pairs of Ash boots. I bought a pair of Squaw wedge boots 8 months ago for £165.00. I have worn these for a total of approx 7 hours - literally. The teeth on the zip at the back of the boot have come apart rendering the boot unwearable. Despite sending numerous emails and detailed information to Ash including several photographs which clearly show the boots are still in an almost new condition - Ash expect me to pay £40 to have the faulty zip repaired. My boyfriend ordered me this pair of shoes as my Christmas present. He called ahead beforehand to ask what size he should order if I'm normally a 6.5 and the salesperson told him to get 36. So the shoes just arrived and the soles of the shoes are all black from wear/use as you would expect from floor model shoes from Nordstrom or etc, maybe even worse. After wearing the ASH SPIRAL Ankle boots twice, the leather near the zip came loose. I sent the shoes back to ASH for an exchange. I was told the fault occurred due to wear and tear. The quality of the shoes is questionable if they cannot be worn twice without falling apart. Would avoid tis retailer. (read more)

The customer service is beyond terrible, the shoes are overpriced, the positive reviews on here are all written in a very similar style that makes you wonder if they are even genuine!. This is my second pair of Ash trainers and this pair was disappointing! There's a flaw in the silk/satin fabric to one side of the laces which obviously wasn't picked up by quality control - the flaw has the appearance similar to when sticky-back plastic isn't applied smoothly. Not what I would expect from Ash or for a pair of £89 trainers! The quality isn't nearly as sleek as it was with my first pair of snake metallic ones (approx £130 a couple of years ago). Love, love, love my Bowie hitops, have worn them pretty much every day since they arrived!
