I was impressed with the Usay operator, and he got me a deal that I hadn't thought about (left out diagnostic care so I rely on the NHS for that) to keep the cost down. All was fine until I got the policy documents and then found the policy I'd been sold had a 25% first year discount. So it's fine for this year but will go up by 33% plus any inflationary increase on first renewal. I felt very deflated at this and wonder if I should have asked more questions, but you can't think of everything... (read more)

I was a bit sceptical when I received the call back after filling in the on line form and felt I would be pressured into something I may not want, however I spoke to a charming well informed agent, and was recommended a policy which suited me and saved me money. The agent I dealt with called a number of times when I was busy and actually did ring back when I asked him to - including evenings, weekends etc. He didn't try to push me into agreeing on a particular day and appreciated I wanted some time to think about it and do my own research. He had also a lot of information and could really go into depth about what the policy meant. This meant that I trusted what he was saying a great deal more than I expected to and was therefore prepared to sign up. (read more)

I have renewed my policy with USAY and overall am happy with their service, however I queried the price for my renewal and they were able to suggest another provider who offered a better product for me at almost 20% less than the renewal price. Worst Post sales customer service I have ever encountered. In fact there was no customer service at all. I was trying to upgrade my health policy I had just taken out through your company and I had to chase you to find out what was going on. He answered all my queries and, after considering the matter for 48 hours, I rang back and tranferred my insurance to Aviva. The premium he obtained for me was significantly lower than the renewal sum quoted by Saga/Axa Mr Singh was very professional throughout all our discussions. There was nothing I didn't like. Within five minutes he had found a company ( Aviva ) who could offer me a very comprehensive policy for £600 per annum less than my existing company ( Bupa ).
