Best section 75 piece I've ever read!

I've had a nightmare with a freezer I bought last year and seeing as the unnamed electrical store (who's name begins with "c") were not in the mood to take me seriously, or even accept that there is a fault, I had to learn more about section 75 of the consumer credit act than I ever wanted to know!

I've looked through loads of websites researching the law and the best piece I found on the subject was on CompareandSave - not only do they cover what 75 section is and what it means for consumers (just like Money-Saving-Expert do), but they also cover the history and origins of this peculiar quirk of UK credit law.

Hats off to a true British legend - Lord Crowther who protected the little guy from dodgy hire-purchase operators. Thanks to him and section 75 it's looking very likely that I'll be able to force my credit card company to get this one put right as it cost more than £100 - Result!
