I've used zooplus on a couple of occasions - the last time will be the last! They use Yodel couriers to deliver and I have had bad experiences with them. One delivery came with the box damaged but the contents intact, the last delivery came with the box literally stamped on and split nearly in half (you could see the footprint on the box!) Two whole boxes of dog food were missing altogether worth in excess of £15 and the 15kg bag of complete dog food (worth over £40) was torn in two places so no longer airtight. OK so this was isn't really zooplus's fault but when I contacted customer services via email enclosing photos of the damage it took some time for them to reply. When they did reply they offered me the princely sum of £8 refund for the damage to the (£40) bag of dog food. I emailed them repeatedly stating that two boxes of dog food (worth over £15) were missing - they then offered me an extra £2.50 refund. I emailed them asking for a refund for the missing two boxes and although I didn't think £8 was enough compensation for the damage to the bag of food I agreed to accept it as I was getting fed up with their lack of contact. No reply to that email so I then called them up and spoke to someone who didn't really seem that bothered, didn't apologise but agreed to refund me for the two boxes of missing dog food and the £8 towards the £40 damaged bag. And that was two days ago - and nothing is as yet showing on my paypal account. Their prices may be cheap but their after sales is horrendous - I will never use them again - would rather buy locally and pay a bit more. Buyer beware as they say!
