I have a large number of guinea pigs, who are very fussy about what they eat and have, in the past, used most of the online stores to purchase feed. Not only was your store the cheapest by far, with no hidden transport costs for heavy items, but I got a discount for buying more. Great prices saved £40 on my 2x 14kg bags of Pro Plan athletic dog food. The let down was waiting 6 days for my parcel having ordered and paid for it by 8am on a Wednesday and then not had it delivered until the following Tuesday ... it's a pity as I would like to use them again what with their savings but the courier Yodel although very polite did take a long time to deliver .... Unfortunately it was not the food I had ordered so I telephoned and there was a fulsome apology and the incorrect bag collected the same day. The correct bag arrived the following day. The mistake was small but the reaction by the company was excellent. Mistakes do happen and it is a measure of the company in the way they rectify the mistake. PetShopBowl were excellent. When we noticed that Tesco recently put the price up by nearly 15% overnight for a 2kg bag of Harrington's dog food for no good reason, we decided to look for a better deal online. We were pleasantly surprised to find that PetShopBowl offered a 15kg bag at a price which worked out to at least 15% LESS than Tesco's price BEFORE they jacked it up!
