“Please don't use this company, BDM will lie through...”

Please don't use this company, BDM will lie through his teeth, start new Direct Debits without your knowledge,before you know it several hundred pound is missing from your bank account and surprise surprise the BDM who harassed you for days or weeks on end can't help you as he no longer has access to your account, isn't that right Dur-n Gr-nt. “Avoid like the plague”

Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company. Sell you a cheap solution, then get stung with a huge bill of hidden charges on first payment. Make no mention of term of agreement, make no effort to help you for months after the complaint (support are either clueless or don't care one bit) Seriously - stick to a reputable firm like a main bank because they are just not worth the hassle… Read Full Review

We used the company. when it came to close the account we had new buyer for the business, we asked for moving the account. which was agreed. but instead they got the new buyer to open up new account and make use to pay for closing account. Stay away from this company, they do not deliver. Fees of over €100 already taken from my account, my rep is not replying to mails, biggest mistake switching. I don't actually know what to do, so please don't waste any more of your time on PaymentSense as a partner helping the growth of your business. They will drain your finances, time and energy. I totally empathy with your situation because I am same boat as you and I have taken this matter to Financial Ombudsman and also take this matter to FCA for further investigation. If anybody is reading then please do not sign with them until you have written full agreement documents in hand because they will ask you to click the buttons for your signatures.

“APPALLING SERVICE, VERY MISLEADING ON HIDDEN CHARGES”

Absolutely disgusting service so far. So many hidden charges they do not tell you about when you sign up, I only discovered them when my first direct debit payment was taken from my account. Staff appear to have no idea what the problem is. Please Beware. My first invoice was double what I paid with my previous supplier! I'm going through the same thing, I feel your pain! Not only is it a financial burden but it's mentally exhausting to deal with. They promised to pay my exit fees also which hasn't happened and the fees this month were over €100.
I read so many reviews about this company, mostly they mediocre and still didn't go my gut. I contacted people who were using the system who gave glowing reviews, I now suspect they maybe paid by PaymentSense.
You have made a thousand good decisions, don't let this one break you, that's what I'm saying to myself everyday.

I would agree with all the negative posts - i have experienced all the same problems first hand
Initial hard sell from visiting their rep, then numerous unexpected extras charged for, then little or no help with their pci compliance - handed around various parts of their organisation - endless hours waiting on the premium rate phone line, - people say they will call you back and never do.
sudden new charge for 'account on file' - still don't know what that's for.
billing/invoices are completely user un-friendly and impossible for the lay person to decipher
Also i was told by the rep up front that i'd be able to terminate the contract after 18 months as a sole trader - but no mention of the numerous cancellation fees hidden in the small print -
to cap it all since i stopped trading i have been paying rental, minimum transaction fees technical support fees and all the other hidden extras for 4 months whilst i 'ride out the 18 months' having been told by PS that there would be no early cancellation charges if i did this, - i have just been handed a bill for 270 quid for early termination by one of their partners FDMS - this organisation, through it's various 'partners' has absolutely fleeced me. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM!

No my complaint has not been resolved even though it has now been 4 months!

I am still being chased by first data for £27 even though my contract was cancelled and have email confirmation from paymentsense that I do not owe anything further. I am now receiving THREATENING final demand letters from FirstData. I have contacted paymentsense last week however still not resolved. the response is your account has been closed which is pointing out the obvious. I need the so called debt owed to be cleared and confirmation from either Paymentsense or Firstdata is needed.

Also my refund of £50 never did come from Paymentsense which till now I am still waiting for despite being promised that refund will be sent. 4 months and still just as painful as the start of the process!

I was a terminal that has no signal in my area and after having complained about it for two months I am still waiting for Payment sense to get back to me as they had at the time ordered a different type of terminal - money lost. “Worst Customer Service ever experienced”

From day one I have had issues with this company. They completely miss sold their product (2 x GPS card machines). They told me there were no hidden costs - of which there are many.... too many to even mention here. I have managed to resolve some of these after hours of telephone calls and emails, however 5 and a half months after my contract started there are still issues. “A very dubious operation......”

Promised the world but still waiting for just a returned phone call. They sent three incorrect terminals before sending the right one. (They are still charging me for a second terminal that does not exist). Promised 8 mths free rental - has not happened. Yes, I am very unhappy but strongly suggest anyone looking to go into a contract with PaymentSense really needs to look elsewhere. This is purely about selling contracts with zero actual back-up. Had a lovely quote from Payment Sense which looked as if it would meet our need of taking card payments for a one off event. The man I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. When we decided to go ahead I supplied the information asked for to set up the "24 hour hassle free" service but had to chase it up as nothing was forthcoming in 24 hours. I rung Payment Sense at 16:40 to try to get help with completing my Questionnaire SAQ B-IP as I do not understand the terminology used in the questionnaire. I spoke to a man at the company who said there was no one who could assist with my request at present so he would pass the message on. I too am having serious problems with this company and am considering contacting Trading Standards. Feel completely ripped off and helpless as nothing ever changes with them, every month I'm getting hidden charges thrown onto my bill. They never return calls and have completely miss sold me the product.

I have been having the same issue as you. I too am going to try to start the ball rolling by complaining to Trading Standards too. I agree they are a misleading company with lack moral standards.
