Shocking experience . Hold onto refunds for weeks . Senior management arrogant and rude . Use the excuse of a technical error to hold back refunds from retailers for weeks , I had a refund of £169 pending for over 8 weeks despite complaining over 5 times . Feel sorry for frontline customer service agents who are very apologetic and polite but their hands are tied and have to escalate to management who have zero customer service skills . I eventually got money back and tried to close my account only to be refused with message transactions still pending - another technical glitch apparently escalated again to management . Forced to cancel direct debit to prevent them taking money from my account until I can close account.
Can't help feel these are deliberate tactics ! Shameful company who say they don't have to respond to complaints for 28 days !
