I've used PayPal for years now and haven't had any major issues. Eventually I had to give them my SS number so I could withdraw more than $500 monthly (lame) but that's the hoop you have to jump through. I use it for work payments, sending money to family, selling items (personal stuff like Craigslist) and really find it to be simple and effective. They offer a PayPal debit card which is great along with other items. Pretty cool for my daily use, but may not be for everyone. I've heard about accounts being frozen and the funds that were in there are no longer accessible for months at a time - really lame. I tend to pull my money out as soon as it's cleared my account just in case something funky goes down.
