To say we are shocked and disappointed in the service doesn't even cover what we have experienced this month. We have had to use Paypal for the last 5 years because customers and international customers like to pay for products via this method.
However on the 11th of March Paypal decided to "limit" our account so we are unable to:
*send money
*withdraw money from your account
*close your account
They have said they would restore these features once we prove who we are with documents. So we have had to send in:
1. Driving license
2. bank statement
3. Photo ID
4. Utility bill with address
We sent this in the instant we saw what was going on. Now we are told its going to take 14 days for them to resolve this, check the information and allow us to use the account again.
Firstly they now have enough information about me including a photo and signature which seems a bit strange.
Secondly because they have frozen a vast amount of money which our customers have paid us we are now unable to pay our suppliers! We need to withdraw the money to pay our suppliers! They have caused a huge cash flow problem within our business.
They are unable to help on the phone, they don't seem to care and for this I feel the service if just terrible.
