Went to Tesco opticians in Gateshead, very poor service and only interested in getting the sale.
My partner insisted that I went as I was using reading glasses that cost a pound and that I could be doing some damage to my eyes, so after my eye test I was given a peace of paper that was snatched out of my hand by an assistant and taken over to some frames and told that I would need reflective coating as I was using computers at work.
So putting my trust in them I went ahead thinking its worth it if its for my health.
the first glasses I received went back as I had to be 10 inches close to use them and the second time they were ok but I have since been informed that the ready readers I was using were exactly the same.
Feel like iv been tricked out of 189.00.
while I was there collecting my glasses the optician came out said to the sales girl Iv got a good one for you here, this gives the impression that there only interest is getting your money and not a true interest in your health.
people should not be incentivised with commission when it comes to health issues as for Tesco well you should stick to bread butter and milk etc.
And just one more thing I use my ready readers to read again the ones from Tesco were rubbish
