Felixstowe specsavers

I don't know why they call it spec savers as I paid an extra £50 I had a eye test and picked the glasses then nearly fell off the chair when he told me the price I said that must be wrong it was far too expensive for one pair of glasses he checked the price and added all the add ons he put on but still I said they can't be that price after nearly a hour checking and checking I reluctantly paid and exhausted by the time I left the shop. When I got home it was still on my mind so I telephoned the head office gave her my details and a few hours later I got a call back to say that I had been over charged by £50 I knew it I just felt it the way he acted. Then the Felixstowe branch got back to me I was mad as I had given him plenty of time to check and double check yet I was still out of £50 what if he had been doing this too elderly customers or to everyone who went into the shop. The manger apologised and gave me half the price of my glasses and guess what it was half the price of the wrong price. I will never go back to spec savers ever again I would rather not see again than let those people treat me like that again. The manger said they were having a training day with all the staff so this would never happen again but when I went in to pick up the glasses guess what the same man was doing the hard sale yet again. Now all my family have moved to the another opticians in Felixstowe where there is no hard sale or mistakes a much better service and even my grandson said he can see better. It just makes you think eh!! Stay away from spec savers you don't save going there you just get hassled
