I was 'struck off' from lensemail, apparently my contact lense check was overdue, it was not, in fact I still had a week to go. I have been with Specsavers for ten years so this was a bit of a shock. When I complained they did not seem to care and then gave me incorrect information about my sight test.
My contact lense check consisted of high pressure selling, I backed down and agreed to trial more expensive lenses even though I was very happy with my existing ones and my eye sight was fine. A large amount of time was then spent trying to locate the trial lenses, I was then told they would have to order them.
When I stated that I was not happy and wanted to leave anyway they became very patronising and stated that they could possibly pull a few strings and get me back onto lensemail
I have now left, I order my contacts from the internet now, and I have and pay for a check once a year for sight and contact lenses. It is cheaper and I am in control not Specsavers. I will never go back, there is no loyalty and they do not care.
