This is an amazing service. All you do is send in your glasses with your optician's prescription.

Specs by Post take the PD measurement (the one the optician will never give you) from your current glasses and replace the lenses in your glasses or put new ones in the frames you have just bought.

I did this recently and all it cost me was £20 plus about £3 for postage - the opticians were going to charge me nearly £100 for exactly the same service.

With a current prescription there really is no need to use a high street optician any more - this service saves you ££££££ and is just as good and was so quick that I couldn't quite believe it!
