Purchased a pair of gorgeous Ray-Ban 5226 frames through Pret A Voir a few months ago now - initially disappointed as it turned out that my chosen pair were out of stock and due to past issues with OTHER online retailers, the pessimist in me thought I would be left waiting for ages. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it was only a week before they were delivered via RM 1st Class, recorded delivery!
Everything was perfect, packaging - CHECK, Frames - CHECK CHECK and even the free lens cleaning kit they supplied (that I thought I'd never actually use) came in handy!
Fast forward to the present and the arms of my frames had a become slightly wobbly, the left arm so loose that of course, made them an absolute pain to wear. My local optician "couldn't help" so reluctantly - thinking they wouldn't be able to help either - I emailed Pret A Voir customer services for advice and was told I could send them back for them to have a look at and so I did just that! A few friendly emails exchanged and within a week or so, my glasses were sent back to me (via RM special delivery, might I add) and I'm not entirely sure if they were just repaired or completely replaced as they look and feel brand spankin' new and are sitting happily on my face as I type this review! :)
I actually don't usually bother to leave reviews for..... anything really but with such awful past experiences with customer service (pft! More like WHAT customer service!?) it was just so refreshing to be attended to so kindly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Pret A Voir to friends, family and well, just anyone looking for a good deal on designer frames!
