They made it sound like it was going to be a reasonable price to replace my sunglass lenses.....based on what I read online and what I was expecting......once they received the glasses which the quote was basically for the price we paid new for the glasses......I was stunned......the back and forth was not polite.....they were nasty......directed me to pay the amount they quoted.....I told them return the glasses and very nice case I sent them......we went back and forth.....exasperating......then they said we will return for 15 dollars and change......I told them to keep the case and frames.....that I was sure they would benefit from them......It would have been better if they had just asked for a picture of the glasses but they work by wanting to have the glasses in hand.....I guess they figure if you go that far with them you will succumb to being fleeced. My dumb naive mistake to have allowed them to take my very nice frames and case.....they played me well. I should have read the reviews before doing business with them!

THE WORST - VIRUS-LIKE.
I had the exact same thing happen to me with my Dolce & Gabana prescription sunglasses. Underhanded, overpriced, nasty communications - could it be any worse?? Yes. Years and with no end in sight, hey continue to send the quote over and over telling you to pay, and you get regular texts telling you to ‘kindly check your email and pay”, as if you are late in paying them (even though you told them to keep the frames and delete your contact info). Working with them is like getting a virus in your email and on your phone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

NEVER DO BUSINESS with this company. They advertise a price to fix your glasses and then try and charge you 3x that for the service. Then offer lower rates 2-3x, when I finally tell them I want my glasses back, they charge me $15 for ground shipping! NEVER AGAIN...I WILL POST EVERYWHERE....HORRIBLE SERVICE

“Don't Buy Anything!”

I would not recommend this company. I ordered a brand new pair of sunglasses and before they sent them out they emailed me to let me know that the glasses are damaged and it's the only pair. They wanted to know if I would like a discount and they will continue to ship them out. I responded right away and said no thank you and asked that they just go ahead and refund me. The next day I get a voicemail saying that they need me to respond to them about wether I want these glasses or not. I called and left a voicemail message since they weren't answering. I again let them know that I do not want the damaged glasses but jus a refund. I again followed up the next day. A female answered. She right away knew who I was which led me to believe this must be a very small company. I hadn't even told her my name yet but just what I was calling about. She kept rudely interrupting in a hostile manner. I got the feeling she was angry that I didn't want the damaged glasses. She kept trying to act like the glasses being damaged shouldn't be a big deal just because the lenses were fine. That's not up to her to decide. I told her that I just don't want them because I was looking for and expecting a brand new pair of glasses. Not a pair with damage. Anyway, I told her that I responded to the email saying to just cancel the order. Then she tells me that I did not because they didn't get an email from me. I asked her to just cancel the order since she was talking to me and she said that she will do that when I respond to the email. Again, she was cutting me off still and talking very rude. I asked for a manager and she said that she is the manager. Then I said well I just want the order cancelled and if I send another email response then what if they still say they didn't get it. She cut me off and said to just send the email and then she hung up on me. I called back and pressed another option on the automated phone line. This time I pressed the option for an operator and she again answered the phone right away. So, I told her that I am just going to call my bank and take care of it myself. She said, sarcastically, that it was fine with her and then sounded like she was going to hang up on me again so I just hung up and called my bank. I would warn anybody not to shop with this business. My opinion of it is that it seems to be a personally owned business that is unprofessional and seems kind of shady and unethical. Who wants to deal with that. Not me. I ordered from opticsfast.com but apparently they go by another name too. My bank said the charge came up under another name. It had the word depot at the end. I wish I could remember the whole other name so that everybody could be fully warned. I just no the bank said it ended in depot. I hope that helps anybody thinking of shopping On opticsfast.com

“Don't Use this Company....”

I had 2 pair of sunglasses. One needed to be repaired. They did do this but took forever. Second time the pair came back a different frame and lenses were chipped. Back They go again. 60.00 in shipping cost. My second pair just arrived AGAIN...twice....wrong precription....Called. The most aggressive person told me it was my problem as they were using the precription I sent. I asked where the Progressive lense was. She said I didn't tell them to do that. While asking her why she was being so aggressive she hung up. Now I am stuck with one pair of sunglasses that I can't see out of. And the other pair who knows if I will ever get them back?

“Rudest most unreliable experience I've ever had!!”

I'm scared I won't get my sunglasses back! I have written texts and emails from the customer service department that are so appalling I can't believe they are still in business. Do not use them! I wish I had read reviews. Lesson learned!!

I didn't receive their e-mail with the cost estimate to repair the frame , so because I didn't respond , with no warning , the threw the titanium frames away.

“Exceptionally TERRIBLE Service!”

Optic Fast emailed me when I didn't purchase some sunglasses saying they offer price match. When I emailed them back they matched part of the deal. When I emailed back to enquire regarding the shipping they replied "Anyway you have been annoying all day." Optic Fast I did not initiate the price matching and was perfectly happy to purchase them from the other place. So if you don't want to match an entire offer I suggest you don't offer price matching. From reading other reviews about you on other forums it looks like your bad service saved me from purchasing some bad products!

“they suck”

sent my my prada sun glasses to be fixed I paid extra for them to fix all things on my glasses they did fix the one thing I ask but they came back all loose the rest was not fixed and I sent them in with my expensive prada case and its been four month now and they cant seem to find anything just hung up the phone with them and they said to bad there lost basically deal with it I would never send anything here again they are out to make money from your expensive items you send them and resell them rip off

“Very rude and unprofessional”

I sent my glasses off to be repaired waited 4 weeks and received them back unrepaired sent them back at my expense waited another 3 weeks. Sent back wrong again. Requested a refund and they said no to send them back again. I sent them with a $35 case and did not receive my case back. They will not work with me at all and are very rude and unprofessional. I have asked for a owner or manager and they say that I am talking to them but wont give me their name. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

“Received back and my prescription lenses were missing”

I was looking for a way to get my glasses repaired. I found a place called opticsfast.com I sent them in and had very little trouble but I got them back today. The arm was fixed but my prescription frames are missing. I got back frames that have reading glass frames in them. I will never use them again. I was charged 137 dollars. The frames were fixed but the big mystery is where are my lenses????? I have very poor vision. These aren't my lenses!!!!

Before you buy from OPTICSFAST.com please read the emails I received simply asking for a return call to discuss a $700 order. This company has poor customer service. These are the actual replies I received: Email 1 I am too swamped to make calls. I gave you a discount. I am not here to talk, I am here to give good deals in VOLUME.” Email 2 “Off you go… I have x amount of hours with x amount of staff to make x amount of money” Email 3 “You are Y , you don’t fit into my formula. I would not lift a finger to call a $100 order. Add 2 more zero’s maybe I will call you then.” Final Email I got 340 orders since Friday. Your money …hmmm how I can say this in a nice way? Well since you posted a review.. I can say it in a mean way…. SUCK IT” Don’t buy anything from this company! BEWARE

“Nose piece for suglassed”

This company is certainly a huge sham. I sent a pair of prescription sunglasses for a nose piece I could not get locally. They received my order as indicated by an online Email. To my dismay I heard nothing after weeks of communication and finally saw they charged my credit card for $80 plus dollars. I called to see where the glasses were and they said they were lost in the lab. What? How can they charge for lost $400 dollar prescription sunglasses and charge for a lost pair nose piece. I faught them and my credit card company for six months with no success. I'm done and hope you mind my words. A Brooklyn NY company that is very untrustworthy. Enough said....

“OPTICSFAST: AVOID AT ALL COST”

I post this review of OPTICS FAST eyewear repair service in the hopes that someone will read it and avoid my mistake. I wish I had taken the time to read the on-line reviews of OPTICS FAST before sending them my vintage theo frames. That's on me... Had I done so, they would not currently have my frames, have sent them to a wrong address, and refused to refund the price of those theo frames (quite expensive for those who are unaware of the brand). I fear that my frames are lost forever, due to either total incompetence or something more sinister/criminal. Let me explain. Some six months ago, I sent them my vintage frames which needed some paint touch up as well as nose guards. I was quoted a turn-around time of 1-2 weeks, when I inquired three weeks later, she indicated they were almost ready and would be mailed soon. Two weeks later, after several emails I might add, she indicated that they were sent to the wrong address and the customer was being difficult and suggested I contact him directly. Can you believe it? She provided me with another client's home address and phone number (I won't do the same, though)! I responded that this was not my job but the company's and requested a refund of fees and cost of frame. I got the following response: You got the wrong item. The other customer got the wrong item. He is shipping it back and so are you. That is how this issue is being resolved. Again repeated emails until finally I learned why the customer who apparently has my frames was being so difficult. They have his sunglasses and have failed to produce them, so he's using my frames for what little leverage he can get. The email thread is below: I don't want the glasses I have no use for them but I am not going to send anything back until I get what I paid for so please do not send me any more emails until I bet a shipping confirmation we have nothing to talk about good day. Please read the on-line reviews. OPTICS FAST has been called rude, incompetent, disingenuous, surly, sarcastic, intentionally ripping people off, inept, awful, wretched, nasty, ridiculous, a headache, classic bait and switch, crooked, despicable, sketchy.... I could fill the page with their "accolades." Apparently, they even offer payment for positive reviews. Go figure?! You should avoid this vendor at all costs! I wish I had. Six months have now passed since I sent them the frames they promised would take only 1-2 weeks to be returned, repaired. Had I listened, at least, I'd have my unrepaired frames; that's more than I can show now after having spent $200 for my theo frames and entrusted them to OPTICS FAST. I have phoned, emailed, tried anything to get some action on their part; they now block my calls and refuse to answer my emails. I have taken my issue to the NY Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and on-line review posting boards. Please do yourself a favor, or... YOU TOO WILL BE CHEATED!

“Specialist in Rude Obnoxious customer service”

Looking for a particular set of frames for a discontinued item. OpticsFast web site showed several. Thought I would call customer service just to make sure. Very rude male answered the phone saying, if it's on our web site then we have it. Hang up and order off the web. Should have known better, but maybe he was having a bad day. Placed the order. Next day get a text, problem with your order. Phoned again. This time a rude Jersey accented female customer service rep tells me frames discontinued from manufacturer. If you would check your email you would know why. I Never got any email. Oh your from Alabama I see by the order, this is just great Howdy Howdy. Your order was cancelled. I just told her, sorry I even bothered.

The frames arrived and I do not like them. I am being charged a 20% restocking fee and must pay the return shipping. My glasses came from Ebay when I didn't order them from ebay. I called to ask how to return the frames and a "gentleman" threatened me with the police.

“Really terrible to deal wit”

Yuk. OpticsFast is the absolute WORST online company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. No. Wait! They are simply the worst company I have ever dealt with. They make Comcast and ATT seem like model customer support organizations. Thank goodness I never sent them my glasses for repair (thank you to The Frame Mender for the 1 week turnaround and excellent quality repair). My entire lousy experience with OpticsFast has been limited to their constant badgering messages to send in my glasses. It doesn't matter that I patiently informed them I won't be sending them my glasses. "Why not" was their response. Because, I replied, online reviews for OpticsFast on Yelp and the BBB are dismal (plus they don't quote repairs until they've received the glasses unlike, say, The Frame Mender. With bad reviews and a pig-in-a-poke approach to the quote process, there was no way I was sending them my glasses to hold hostage). A woman replied that I was making a huuugh mistake, that they have great reviews with only a few hundred negative reviews because of some overly sensitive customers who complain at the littlest provocation. Not a good sign, I thought. Now, 2 weeks on, I get 1 or 2 daily messages to send in my already-repaired-by-someone-else glasses. Numerous requests to stop sending those messages have gone ignored. So I gave them fair warning: if they sent me another message, I'd share my miserable experience on every social website I could find. In less than an hour, they replied that they'd already prepaid postage for my glasses and, therefore, I "must pay" them $5.49 to not send them in. I guess they figure their customers don't know or can't find out that Click-n-Ship postage is fully refundable within 30 days of purchase. These guys apparently know and will try every trick in the book to squeeze a few dollars from their customers. I shudder to think what tricks they would have tried if they'd gotten their mitts on my glasses. So here I am posting my experience everywhere I can find. FWIW, in response to my warning of posting this review, their response was "the more [bad reviews] the merrier". Now that I'm actually posting (as I warned them I would), the boneheads are calling my cellphone and threatening to IM and email bomb me. Poor sods apparently haven't heard of email blacklists and IM blocking. I can understand how such monumental impotence would make them a bit nuts but I'm only asking that they stop calling, messaging and emailing me. Their latest response: threatening me with middle-of-the-night phone calls to disrupt our sleep. Pathetic,
