I purchased a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses over a month ago from this website. They arrived with scratches and were extremely loose - basically unwearable. I called and was told that the sunglasses were a display pair, but they absolutely were not advertised that way. I went back and forth with customer service so many times I can't even count. Ordered Cazal sunglasses in November, got run around from one sales rep to another. They even insisted that the item was shipped. I produced series of e-mails which was sent back and from. After 51/2 months, I got the sunglasses 2200 PST on 5/13. Upon opening the box the screws on the glasses fell off the glasses and it was in half. Absolute sham. Do not order from this company. They are eager to take your money but your glasses will never be shipped. After a week of waiting for my glasses that were "being processed at the vendors" I tried to cancel my order at which point the sales team were evasive and rude. Read other online reviews, you will soon see how shady this company is. Too late, I found out Optics Fast is not a professional repair lab as suggested by a dropdown on the website with Pictures of Work in Progress "at our lab" with a photo of a microwelder, but a one-woman show working out of her apartment near a United Parcel service store. Shattered my right lens on my Persol sunglasses and look around for someone to fix them. Went to Lenscrafters where I bought them. They said that they were to outdated could not get parts to fix them and they would have to make new lenses at a cost of $180.00 But they had a special on a new pair for 240.00 but I did not like the styles they had. Recently sent 2 pair of my Ray Band sunglasses to this site. Was told on the phone that my shades would be fixed with ORIGINAL lenses with the logo...they were sent back with plastic lenses and no logos! They misled me and charged me almost $275.00 for the work. Never believe what a salesperson says on the phone from this business. They did rebate me $114.95 after 2 days of complaining. I purchased Olivers People sunglasses from Opticsfast the 5th of April. I still haven't received anything from them. I contacted their customer service many times via email or via the chat. They always try to give you a reason why they haven't sent the sunglasses. I am quite upset about this issue as I am French and I don't know what to do if I will not receive anything from them. Do not trust this company! I paid $20 to send in a pair of Versace sunglasses to be refurbished 2 1/2 months ago and I am still waiting for an estimate. I have emailed them and got a couple of responses saying they had their system crash and were doing their best to get me an estimate. I sent in a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses for repair. They could not fix them (too badly damaged, not their fault) but instead they gave me a great deal on a replacement. All things considered, I'm more happy with the new replacement (at a greatly reduced price) than the old retread I had hoped for. This might be the worst site to buy discount sunglasses not only do the not have a live stock but they have to wait to get the glasses which take typically a couple weeks get the glasses fr some vendor in china and then send it out to the customer. I sent two pair of RayBans to have bi-focal lenses made. I was billed $200 and received the glasses a month later. The lens were single vision with no correction. I called and was told to return them. About a month later I received multiple calls from OpticsFast telling me I had made the mistake and would have to pay an additional $100. Smell a rip off? Sent my Kate spade sunglasses to them for a simple screw repair in the earpiece. Price was excessive ($50). Whey they returned, one of the lenses were out and the frames had been bent so it could not be popped back in. I contacted customer service and was told they could not help but to e-mail my problem to them. I did this twice but have not heard a word from the company. Sent in a pair of nice sunglass frames to get plain lenses put in since the prescription was no longer good (The old lenses were pristine) They came back with the same not valid prescription. This company has the worst business practice and customer service of any company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Opticsfast received my glasses, according to UPS on Feb. 2nd. Opticsfast notified me they received my glasses on Feb. 7th. They gave me a repair quote on Feb. 15th. I paid that day. My glasses had a broken bow and a partially missing hose piece. Optics Fast (from now on know as Optics Forever) took forever, I believe that the didn't even start the repair until I started calling and instant messaging to find out what was going on. However, they certainly were fast when it came to charging my card.
