I found Optics Fast by doing a search for eyeglass repair. I was initially excited because I had a pair of reading glasses that had a broken hinge. I emailed the company and they said this was the type of repair they make on a regular basis. Paid the advanced shipping charge and sent my glasses in for repair.
I knew something was off when I immediately received auto-generated emails from Optics Fast that outlined how I could make money in my spare time by selling their products. I was relieved when I received an emailing confirming receipt of my glasses. The email said they would get back to me in a few days with an estimate of repair costs.
3 days later I received an email saying my glasses could not be repaired, but they would be glad to sell me a new pair. I declined, since I would prefer to buy my glasses locally, and asked them to return my broken glasses. That was in September of 2012. After 3 weeks, I emailed them again. I received a one-line email from Becky in Customer Service saying "I will look into it." I've sent other emails and left voice mail messages on their toll-free line, but have not heard a thing. 3 months later I have still not received my glasses.
I wish I had done more research on this company before engaging them. At this point, I'm reviewing the company on sites like this in order to warn others about the non-service of Optics Fast.
