I have a high prescription therefore I wanted a thin lenses with a designer frame. JP Opticians were able to satisfy and exceed my expectations on price, quality and service. The glasses arrived within 5 working days and I am extremely happy with them. Highly recommended opticians. (read more)

I could not get the selection of glasses anywhere compared to the choice at John Prebble. I can't believe the trouble they went to. My frames could only be obtained from Portugal, but they made it all so simple. The best part was that they kept me regularly informed at every step to let me know when to expect them. Living in Manhattan I'm used to overpricing, however the recent prices of glasses are just ridiculous. I went to about 10 different eyewear shops trying on frames, but with my higher prescription (and fabulous style) the quotes I was getting were over $700. I was nervous about ordering prescription glasses online for the first time, did a lot of surfing around and found John Prebble Opticians to have by far the best prices, even compared to some of the really big, well-known sites (I have a prescription that needs expensive lenses - overall I saved close on £100 against online prices advertised on other sites for Prada frames). Bought a pair of lovely Prada glasses at half the price of what my own opticians would have charged (even with their customer discount) I was able to talk to a friendly, helpful member of staff on the phone with no delays to ask questions and they allowed me to purchase the frames without lenses in two colours first so I could try on at home and return the ones I didn't want with a full refund including postage costs.
