“Shocking SERVICE & RESPONSE”

I ordered my lenses on the 11/08/16 and was promised my first shipping early September, for my holiday on the 22/09/16. This shipping date has changed 3 times now and now I won't get them until October. I tried to cancel my order via customer service - oh noooo! Your order has been shipped?????? Where is my order???????? And, yes, you have to pay a customs charge when they are delivered. Free delivery but a processing charge is applied. Utter joke - WILL NOT BE USING THEIR SERVICE, AGAIN!!!! “Do not use euroLens”

euroLens purports to be a European website, they have websites in 16 European Countries. They mislead and defraud their customers: 1. Their Websites are misleading and do not make it clear that shipments are from the USA and will therefore incur Customs duty, V.A.T. and Customs clearance charges. 2. The charges to credit card accounts are more than the amount stated on their Invoice. Their website and invoices are in euros, but they charge in dollars! … Read Full Review

I also had a bad experience with Eurolens. The lenses arrived over a month after I ordered them and I had to pay £22 duty and handling fee, making them much more expensive than the price quoted on the website and more expensive than I could buy them from my local high street optician. The prices quoted on their website are very misleading with no mention that duty may be incurred.
