In 2012 I purchased a graphics card from this website. They said it'd take 10 days to be delivered. It took nearly 2 months. I tried cancel my order but there website said they were "looking into it" therefore was no option for me to cancel the transaction. They took the money straight away but dispatched my product far too late afterwards. They've taken down their website now so I've heard. I was thinking about purchasing a few more things from them but I've seen millions of reviews saying they are CONMEN!!! Word of warning, stay clear of these people. They want your money and couldn't give a damn whether the customer is satisfied. If your shopping online, then shop on amazon. There's no safer place and the deliveries are always dead on arrival.

“paid for something which never arrived...”

I went online to buy a couple items and when I went to pay thwy said 5-10days which I could live with.... with this in mind I put the order in on 15th July and had waited until I phoned to find out where the items were. There response was it is not in stock at the moment. I am still trying to find a way of getting my money back as this company had no intention of delivering the items and just wanted the money obviously. I wouldnt recommend them to a friend ever... if anything I would make sure they would stear clear of this site. If I was told there was no stock in the first place I wouldn't of ordered from them. If anyone finds a way of getting your money back please can you let us all know please.

“Received a letter from the receivers”

Apparently they have gone broke and the likelihood of my recovering the full amount I paid them is minimal. They suggested that I talk to my card issuer to recover my money. I will be reporting these guys to the police as a company that uses wire fraud to make money. There is no way that I would be recommending these guys to anyone and I will go out of my way to give them bad reviews wherever I can. As others have said, 1 star is being generous with these frauds and I hope that the cops go in there and close the place down.

“Never deal with them”

They where happy to take money for something in stock which then went out of stock and after nearly a month was not delivered. Cancelled order and after two month+ I am getting nothing but canned responses "we are looking into it" whenever I ask where my refund is. Suspect that small claims court will be required or I will have to write off the money. I also note that the website has been unavailable for at least the past few days.

WAE+ went into Administration and has now been bought in a Pre Pack deal.

If you paid by card, talk to your bank. If you paid by bank transfer..I think you can kiss your money goodbye.

I reported them to Action Fraud...I hope everyone does the same!

“Out of business”

Notifed today that WAE+ os bankrupt and I am unlikely to recieve any monies back. Owed money for goods ordered a month a go, which were never in stock dispite claims and were never despatched. The directors of this company should never be allowed to run a UK based company again. I will be complaining to banks as the site had an impressive array of signs indicating security etc. Not just poor - a reason to avoid the internet as long as there are companies like this in existence.

I have been owed a refund since 4th July having paid by debit card. Had the same letter as yourself but have just contacted my bank 'Santander' who state monies will be refunded following the completion and return of some forms. Totally aware of this fraudulent company having dealt with hundreds of similar complaints.

i had the same problem and got in touch with my bank (nat west who also said i wasnt the only one trying to get money back from these sharks) and i got my money back through CHARGEBACK ! just get in touch with your bank ! i think its go to be done within 100 days.

“Disgraceful Company do not use !!!!”

I bought a television from this company well in advance of my sons 21st birthday ... their system wouldn't let me pay via card so I paid via bank transfer ... I haven't seen a television and that is the last I have seen of my £638 and they have done nothing to get my refund back to me !!! I have reported them to UK's action fraud and I suggest anybody else who has not got their refund back does the same thing Tel: 03001232040 If everyone who has suffered the same as myself reports their activity to the police we can stop them fleecing everyone else. Pay for 7-9 days delivery when the item didn't come i email and did get a reply saying they get their stock from abroad and that it would take an extra 10-12 day on top of what i had already waited. After receiving this email i cancelled my order and now the site is down and i am taking action with my bank to get my £172 back. DONT BE SUCKED IN BY THE PRICE !!!!!

“1 star is too generous!”

Ordered a product over the phone after the sales assistant assured me they had 20 in stock. Waited a week only to be told that they have not had any stock of that item for months! They had great pleasure in telling me that I then would have to wait 30 days for a refund... that was three months ago. Worst experience I have ever had with a company online - complete amateurs!

I have been through the whole process with them. I ordered a piece of audio equipment for £210 shown as being "in stock" and payment was taken from my credit card immediately. The promised delivery date came and went and I rang them to be told that "their suppliers are out of stock". I asked them to cancel my order and refund my credit card. I received email confirmation of the cancellation and was told that the refund would be made in 30 days time. I rang tp protest that they had taken immediate payment for the order and why can't I have an immediate refund. I was told that their accounts department make refunds after 30 days, following Trading Standards guidelines! Having by now looked up WAE reviews on this and other review sites, I was not in the least surprised when my refund was not received after 30 days. I rang WAE once more and a transatlantic voice told me "that of course you will get you refund - it is your money!" At this stage I enlisted the help of my Mastercard provider who, I am relieved to say, refunded my £240 within two weeks of receiving the report of my WAE experience. So all ended well? Not really as I am left wondering why WAE are allowed to continue this type of dishonest trading. There must be something that we can do. I have reported my experience to Trading Standards but they didn't seem very interested.

bought a tv 19/07/13,I was told I had to wait until the 19/08/13 apparently they are within their rights to do this, it is now the 29/08/13,still no refund, surely can be done about this, is not against some law to hold on to your money,that is essentially yours.Never again,and I URGE OTHERS TO KEEP WELL AWAY.

Honestly, please please plase avoid. I ordered over 3 months ago. Everything in stock and still in stock on their website. The customer 'service' team kept saying that it was coming in stock and then out of stock etc etc. I'm waiting for my refund but it seems that they are making money off of interest on their purchases, with no intent on fulfilling the orders.

“Rogue Trader - AVOID at all costs”

Avoid...and absolute waste of effort - a company not to be Trusted An order was placed on the 28th of July for a Livewire Powerline AV...following the item being "In Stock"... here is the definition of "in Stock" should this company care to read... "1. A supply accumulated for future use; a store. 2. The total merchandise kept on hand by a merchant, commercial establishment, warehouse, or manufacturer." I received a confirmation email that detailed I would receive the item between 2nd and 5th of August. Chased on 13th...told "oh we have had an issue with the despatch Warehouse ...item will be with you in 5 Days ..We promise...." A follow up telephone call today and ..Yes you have guessed it .... its not in stock but on its way from the supplier... what a load of rubbish... then its not in stock then is it !!! - Nb this item has shown in stock from july to the present day. Should a refund be requested this will be issued with in 30days, and if you make a complaint it needs to be in writing and they will respond no sooner that 28 days to your complaint...which could go on for Years .... This company in my opinion should be banned from trading, and I have forwarded all my detailed information to the OFT . I have just realised, the items are "competitively" priced because by the time you actually get them they are vintage stock, and the interest earned on the money received , will more than likely pay for the item time and time again.. as a previous post explained....PLEASE DO NOT use these people ...unless you have money and Time to burn... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED PLEASE AVAOID THIS COMPANY I have since tried to cancel the order, where they have stated this will take 5 days to get to credit dept, and a further 30 days to refund... as my item was awaiting fulfilment , this is not bound by the T&C's that in them selves are out side distant trading conditions!!

“BUYER BEWARE”

There is nothing positive about that I can say about WAE+. I purchased and item from them on 30th June 2013.It did not arrive and after 10 days I contacted them only to be told that the item was NOT in stock although it was advertised as being in stock.I cancelled the order and requested a refund. I have lost count of the number of times that I have contacted WAE+. Each time I get apologies and then promises that I will receive my refund in the next 3-5 days. It is nearly 10 weeks and I still have NOT received any refund. I just do not understand how a company like this is permitted to trade. PLEASE if you are thinking of purchasing anything from WAE+, think twice and read some of the 100's of reviews from very unsatisfied customers who have been dealt with exactly like me.

Ordered a camcorder (Canon Legria HF R36, £159.58)on 29th July. Item listed as in stock. Delivery 1st-5th August. 5th August arrives, camcorder does not. Usual story, delay in shipment etc. Cancelled the order, asked for refund. Then I checked up on WAE+..... I would suggest, that WAE+ are trading either fraudulently, or at the least, wrongfully. Avoid WAE+ Do not purchase from them! I will argue that, having lied to me and by not disclosing the item was not in stock, there is no contract between myself and WAE+, therefore, I am due a full and immediate refund. I have made available, on the Tube site that involves You, (don't think I'm allowed to post links).....a true account of my experience with WAE+. Please search for the following... WAE+ AVOID them! When you do find the video, please share via your social networking site(s). The addresses of the directors are at the end of this video...they can be found using company information websites, therefore, are in the public domain. Although communication is terrible, I must admit that the people I have spoken to have always been polite. The only problem is, what they say and what they actually do, are worlds apart.

I ordered a pretty standard Epson printer on the 2nd July. Now it is 16th August and the printer has not been delivered. The worst is that several e-mails have been ignored, customer service was pathetic. I have just cancelled the order and I hope I will receive my money back.

“Awful - never order from them!”

I originally ordered an item on the 20/06/2013 due for delivery on a week later. Despite several phone calls my order still didn't arrive by the 08/07/2013 despite being "in stock" so I cancelled the order. To this date I'm yet to receive a refund. In the T&Cs its 30 days despite them taking your money on the same day as the order!. 30 days has now passed and I'm no closer to getting a refund. Numerous calls have been made to customer services, it has been "escalated" twice. I have emailed the management email address, it has been read and delivered succesfully and no response. What an awful company, I will never recommend or order anything from them again. Be warned!

Had to fill in a star but they don't deserve any!!My son tried to buy a monitor but it came up "payment declined"Despite this he found that WAE had taken the money anyway. There were no e mails whatsoever about payments or order confirmation and no monitor.We phoned WAE countless times and got fobbed off over and over.We have ended up dealing with this with the bank now under "pay dispute" Really though, it should be theft. These scumbags need stopping and prosecuting because it seems they've got away with this for 2 years or more

“Where's my refund?”

"I ordered a Galaxy Note 10.1 on 19th June. It was listed as in stock when I ordered and has been continously listed as in stock since. Even though their website says they despatch most items with 2-3 working days of order, I was told it would take 10-12 working days for delivery. It did not arrive by the due date. Then I kept getting put off when I rang, with assurances that it would be sent in 5-7 working days. When it had not been despatched by 29th July, I asked for a refund, telling them that I considered them to have cancelled my order by virtue of non delivery with a reasonable timeframe. My order is now marked as cancelled on their website, but 2 weeks later I am still waiting for any communication on the refund, letalone the actual money! I can now no longer leave any messages for their customer services through the 'my account' pages, and I get no reply to emails. Phones calls go through to a call centre in India and while they are polite, they do nothing. I am taking this to Birmingham Trading Standards Office and will be going through the small claims court to get my money back. Their prices appear to be good, but that's useless if they don't deliver and don't refund. I would strongly caution against using this company, who seem to treat their customers like a bank (to lend them money interest free)."

You don't 'lend them money' they take it. They seem to do it with relatively small amounts in the hope i am sure that 90 out of a hundred will write it off to experience. Not a bad little earner for doing nothing.
