“Expensive and bad customer service”

A few months ago, our company stopped using Viking as we found much cheaper alternatives offering exactly the same products or equivalents.

Today we tried to place an emergency order with Viking. The cut off point for same day delivery is 10am. Our administrator called at 9.45 and was put on hold for no reason until 9.58am. Viking then tell him that it is too late to order for same day delivery. The viking staff member then acknowledged that actually it wasn't too late, but as he has spent the last 5 minutes arguing with us...it is after 10am. The Viking staff member was very blasé and rude to our staff and then refused to facilitate a formal written complaint - directing us to their website where there is no information on how to log a formal complaint with them. We will not even bother to write to them. Instead, I will write here and let everyone know about their poor attitude towards there customers and that there are much cheaper alternatives available. If you are not happy with the service, take your custom elsewhere!
