Firstly, you can't guarantee that a review has come from a genuine source and given the number of 5(I don't think so)stars Solopress have on this review site and the number of people I've heard complain about this company in person and on other review websites, I would not be surprised if Solopress were writing their own phony reviews. It's not hard to do, so why wouldn't you write several glowing reviews of your own company to try and counter all the negative star ratings you were getting. This is the problem with review websites in the first instance, you just can't be sure if a bad review is from a competitor or a if a good company review has been written by themselves.
Given the frustration that I went through in my dealings with them, I suspect there are many others who might have similar problems.
I am a disgruntled customer. I ordered two stands for a pre 9am next day delivery in London. They failed to communicate to me that I would have to pay before ordering even though I had actually offered to give them credit card details over the phone when placing the order.
I consequently received harassing texts and phone calls once I had got home in the evening (and the next morning) saying I owed them money and that they couldn't deliver pre 9am until payment was received, I did not have the company credit card on me at home. I then had to cancel an important appointment that I had the next morning and go in to work 1.5 hours early to make sure they received payment in time.
And guess what, they didn't deliver it in time. Not only that, they actually GAVE MY PERSONAL MOBILE NUMBER to their courier who called me to tell him where he was supposed to deliver.... shouldn't it be the courier's job to find out where he is going? It was a key London venue.
I also received several calls from several different people for a number of trivial benign marketing reasons.
I of course left a complaint. But the fact that similar problems have happened to so many other people suggests that they're doing nothing to sort out their internal communications issues and therefore do not and will not receive any further business from me.
