Ordered a dozen or so items online, mainly stamp collections and similar. This took perhaps an hour of my time. Payment went through fine. A few days later Royal Mail emailed to state that they had "lost" my address.
I am 100% certain that Royal Mail information technology personnel could have investigated to retrieve the lost information. This would (and, more importantly, should) have been unbeknownst to me, although raising questions about their order processing systems.
When I pointed out the above they just refunded my card.
