Be very careful when ordering from officesupermarket.co.uk
We ordered 9 desks from them and have experienced problems and appalling service from start to finish.
Their website was easy to order from, but the desks did not turn up when promised. We phoned to ask why and were told that they would look into it and return our call. We didn't hear back from them. Chased again and were given another delivery date and time, but the delivery was over 4 hours late.
One of the desks was badly damaged and the driver informed us it wasn't his problem and subsequently left.
We phoned OfficeSupermarket.co.uk who said that they required evidence of the damage (fair enough) which we supplied by email. Told they would look into it and again heard nothing back. Chased again and told it was still being looked into. Waited another week and chased a third time at which point they said that too long had passed since the delivery date and they were unwilling to provide a replacement part, even though I pointed out that the delay was due to them 'looking into it'.
I complained and despite my issue being 'escalated', they have been unwilling to provide a replacement part for the damaged goods.
The initial representative I spoke with incinuated that he spends much of his time dealing with similar requests and they are all handled in the same way - stalling until the 14 day return date has passed, then pointing you to their T&C's and not honouring replacements. Unbelievably poor customer service.
If you order from them and the goods are undamaged you should be ok, but if you have any quality issues, concerns or complaints whatsoever, be prepared for dis-interested and unhelpful customer support from a team who have no interest in helping you.
