You wouldn't have thought it difficult to get two new office chairs, would you? Furniture@Work are the worst company to deal with ever!
We unpacked and tried to construct the first chair. The bellows which sits between the seat and the chair back was so flimsey that it ripped as we put it together. To get a replacement part took 4 phone calls from me to them and over a months wait before the part arrived. Even the replacement bellows is a bit "iffy".
With the first chair kind-of sorted, we unpacked and tried to construct the second chair. This one had a different fault. The tilt / lock doesn't lock. When I sit on the chair it flops forward. To get this replacement part has taken another 4 calls and no part in sight.
These chairs were delivered in the third week of January and here we are TWO MONTHS later on 19th March without two fully functioning office chairs.
Don't believe a word that their customer service department says. They blame everything on their "delivery department", but maybe there is no such department as these chairs had a delivery note on them from Dynamic Office Seating Ltd who I guess are their supplier.
I think these 2 chairs which cost £135 each will go to the tip in the next week or so. They are complete rubbish and are cluttering up my office. If Furniture@Work were a decent company they would have offered to take these chairs away at no charge long ago and replace them with something fit for purpose rather than keep wasting my time.
