I ordered a Samsung Galaxy 2 online as it looked like a good deal. 2 days later received a phone call from Phones 4 U saying that there was a problem with the address on my bank card and that the order could not go through. Spoke to my bank and they said there was no problem with my address it was a problem with phones 4 U. When I spoke to phones 4 U again suddenly there was no problem with my bank card but now Orange wouldn't authorise the contract, at which point the person on the phone tried to sell me a vodafone contract instead. I have been a customer with Orange on pay as you go, broadband etc for years so I know there is no problem there. I told them that I was no longer interested at which point the sales person said ' well you've failed the credit check anyway'. Although my dealings with this company were short I struggle to think of where I have received such poor customer service, particularly as a potential new customer!! Can't imagine how they treat you once you've actually signed up.
