I sent off my son's Z5 as the screen was cracked. It came back within a week and though the repair wasn't the best I'd ever seen (a bit tatty and shoddy) the phone worked ok.....for 3 days.
I contacted these people and was told to return the phone under the 12 month warranty. I returned the phone on the 6th July. I heard nothing from them for nearly a fortnight, despite numerous emails and phone calls from me chasing. I had excuses like, everyone is out to lunch and, the part is stuck at custom!! (that old chestnut!).
My final phone call was with a polite gentleman who told me the part was expected in on the Monday, there would be no charge for the screen and I should receive the phone back by Wednesday (bearing in mind they'd had the phone a fortniht).
That same afternoon, the status on my account changed and an additional charge invoice was placed on there for £200 !!!! for a screen, a motherboard and water damage repair ! WHAT ?!!! They've had the phone a fortnight, were quite happy to repair under the screen warranty and suddenly it's water damage. The phone incidentally, has never suffered water damage. So now I've had to pay £12 for the privilege of having a completely useless damaged phone returned to me in a far worse condition than when I first sent it with a cracked screen.
PLEASE PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DON'T TRUST THIS UNDERHAND SHODDY EXCUSE OF A COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT.
