“damaged goods”

Written on: 01/08/2012 by fallan (1 review written)

Thought I had a good deal on an Iphone4 with the full monty. Received phone promptly. Charged, activated sim and connected to laptop to sync with Ipad. Took factory covers off to clean and fit my own screen protector and case. Noticed chip next to front camera lens and scratch on rear cover. Phoned them Monday, they said to return phone which I did using next day delivery. They received it at 09:10 Tuesday. Phoned on Wed and promised a return call a.s.a.p. Phoned again mid afternoon still no news. Got a call Wed evening saying because there was data on the phone it was used and they thought I damaged it. They asked about the seal on the box, What seal??? there was not a seal on the box. I said I would refuse delivery and cancel contract. They said they would keep sending it to me until I accepted delivery and if I stopped direct debit I would have T-Mobile legal department after me. Bully boy tactics or what???
The person calling me a liar is Ian Summers but was told he will not speak to me if I call. Well Mr Summers, How dare you call me a liar???????
Avoid this company like the plague. Go to a reputable store.

Having the same problem at the moment - they are so rude - bought phone via Amazon - damaged - will not exchange or refund as it is damamged !! yes that is WHY I am returning it - keep repeating themselves - its is damaged, it is damaged - blah blah - so raising a case with Amazon and going to report to my credit card company- at the moment they have my phone and my money !
