Cold call from 'Google' offering a months trial to boost my business website onto first page of Google for £150. Caller was very persuasive about how this could boost business and I agreed. She spoke EXTREMELY quickly, took card details and passed me onto compliance who talked about key words to boost our position and spoke EXTREMELY quickly about what would happen next re an email to agree these words. I agree on the phone but luckily don't sign the agreement they email me, as I don't see it in my inbox.It is under a ladies name. I, of coarse was looking out for an email from Google. I find that Ebs marketing have taken £180 from my account. I question who they are with the bank and realise I have been duped. I put a stop to any further payments coming out from my account and contact Ebs. I am passed to my account manager who is now a different person to whome i had talked to in original call. I demand a refund as I have been misold. He says that they will listen to the call and get back to me.He does n't get back to me despite me also sending a recorded delivery letter and an email cancelling all perceived verbal agreement and asking for a refund. At no point during the original call was I informed that I was speaking to EBS Marketing based in Manchester. To date, no refund !!
If EBS Marketing are a legitimate business as they claim, then let them act like it and refund their misold customers and retrain their phone sales Marketears.
