Loan for house repairs - re-slating the entire roof

I phoned Zopa for advice and was given very clear and helpful responses. Although I have a good credit history I was expecting to be phoned for extra information and so was surprised and very pleased for the loan to be approved within hours without that. I like the idea of by-passing the banks and would recommend Zopa to others. The only thing that would have helped a little would have been if it had been possible to get approval in advance of receiving to money so that I could have known that the loan was secure in advance of getting estimates. However the speed of the application process made up for this -plus,of course, the fact that it was successful!
