Great Advice Centre

The Citizens Advice Bureau in Birmingham is quite simple outstanding. I had a recent issue with my neighbour over noise disturbance and was not able to resolve the problem. I also did not want to pay a huge amount of money to a solicitor so thought I would go the the local CAB office for some free advice.

Firstly the building was immaculate and very well maintained, this surprised me as I was expecting a packed and dirty office. The staff were literally falling over themselves to help me from start to finish.

I explained my problem in great detail to the advisor who calmly offered me legal advice regarding local council legislation as well as how to word some of the correspondence to the local authority. WOW - This offered me a variety of additional options that I had no idea I could use, and I left there feeling able to resolve the problem.

I followed there advice and within 4 weeks, a local council officer visited me and issued the relevent paperwork to my noisy neighbour.

A fantastic solution, of which I really didnt think I could ever resolve.

Well done CAB on providing a Free and Very effective solution to my problem.
