I ordered a watch on 18th Dec and was given the opportunity to expedite the order for delivery by 24th Dec at an extra cost
Standard delivery estimate was 3-5 days so I took the expedited route to be sure of delivery for Christmas
There was no subsequent communication from seller and they failed to respond to my initial email and were well outside their advertised response times when I wrote to them again
Finally I called them, (which is difficult because the incoming lines are advertised for new business only.....it seems the seller doesn't want to take calls on existing orders!)
I referred to the estimated delivery time and the inference was that the 3 - 5 days delivery time effectively reflects the time it takes the seller to receive the item from the warehouse/wholesaler rather than the time it takes to get the item to the customer!!
To be fair, as the watch I "purchased" was still not in stock by 24th Dec, the seller offered an alternative watch at a higher price, but the the same cost to me as the item I wanted and posted this to arrive after Christmas
However, all in all the service was a real disappointment
