Damaged Watch Received

I ordered a Daniel Wellington watch from the Joshua James website. When it arrived I noticed it had 3 deep noticeable scratches in the watch face. I emailed the company and received no reply to my emails. I phoned the company to find out if there was anything they could do because I really wanted the watch but was not happy with the condition that it came in. Due to being sold out of the watch, they simply said all I could do was get it refunded. This is definitely not fair seeing as it should be their responsibility to make sure the watches they send out are in perfect condition. So now I will have to pay for the watch to get repaired out of my own pocket - for a mistake they made! Not only that but the person I spoke to on the phone did not sound sympathetic or sorry in the slightest.

Although there prices are good, their customer service on the other hand is absolutely appalling and for that reason I would be hesitant to shop with them again.
