I would like to thank Chris in location code 208 in Northern Ireland. I was over from Scotland staying with my friend and had a problem with one of my rings. I did not purchase this ring from any of your branches. The sales assistant asked what the problem was and he said he'd have a wee look and also took my other rings which were pretty minging and said go you and get a cup of tea then come back. I did so and in turn went back to find my ring fixed and them all sparkley and new again. I was really delighted and went and bought him a wee chocolate. Chris did not need to have done this for me and this was last November. Didn't do this feedback thing before as I lost the feedback card with location code and his name on it. I live in Darlington and have always had very good service from the staff, they have given good advice and been very helpful. At the moment I am in the process of having some earrings made. They ordered the stones and showed me them before they began work, I am so excited and can not wait to see them. The one thing that I have been very disappointed with this year is that they have not done their teddy bears, which where always fabulous a diary is no comparison to replace the bear very disappointed about this. One sad customer .

I had a problem with the strap from a watch I had bought from another jeweller in the town. They said there was nothing they could do to solve the problem and there was nothing that could do to change the bracelet fastening. I walked in to N G and within 10 minutes the assistant had helped me to choose a new strap and it was fitted perfectly.

I had two wedding rings that belonging to my late nan and late mother in law, that were far too small, with the best help and advice I now have one ring made from the two which is perfect thank you to the Darlington team (102). Best service ever!!

Hello, I received an insurance payout to spend at Goldsmiths. I went to the Middlesbrough store and was served by Brian. It was a really nice experience. My niece and myself were treated like valuable custormers, were allowed to take our time and were served with courtesy and care. Thank you very much!The only thing that was a little saddening was that some of the items I had picked online were not in store and we have to come back for them later which is awkward because I am disabled and we don't live in Middlesbrough. Having recieved gift cards and money for my 40th birthday. I popped into goldsmiths Wrexham branch (040) Rob was very helpful and patent. Nothing was too much trouble I settled on a gold clogau eternal love charm. I went to collect my charm again Rob was wonderful again very helpful. I visited the Cabot circus branch to buy a special first birthday gift for my partner. Undecided and not sure what to get I went into goldsmiths ( location code 042). I was served by one lady, very helpful. But still undecided I thought best eat as a decision on an empty stomach was not the best. After eating I returned as I had at least decided on the choice between 3 items. A lady called Laura served me, lovely girl, very helpful and I made a good choice with her help. Great experience and I'm sure the gift will bring a smile on her birthday. Thankyou Laura and happy birthday for this week . Fantastic customer care all round .

I have shopped for many years at Goldsmiths, online and at my local branch Stirling. I have been delighted with the service during and after sales. I had recently to return a watch, purchased formy husband, the watch was sent to manufacturer, and came back in pristine condition, and was despatched (as requested ) immediately. Followed with a call to let me know it wason route, and a follow up email. Well Done to George and his team in Stirling. Once again your level of service was excellent. Many many thanks. I shall return to shop before Xmas. I have sometimes went to the shop with one particular item in mind, however, staff there, have gave me options to compare with, have encouraged me to take time, and to be happy that I have made the correct decision. No hurry in this store, to sell with no after thought.

Took two watches in to have their batteries changed - my girlfriends and my own. My girlfriends filled with condinsation two days after getting it back - which it has never done in the fours years of having it and the back of my watch fell off a week later where they had gained access to the battery. When we took them back we were told they couldn't find any record of servicing them! They refused point blank to accept any blame or even that they had done any work on either watch - so we're now writing to their head office with copies of credit card transactions. Terrible service - do not entrust your goods with these people!
