Send watch to Bablas, the immediately checked it out and tested it on a new battery for two days and quotedme for a new battery and also for a full-service. I had a misunderstasnding at home and asked Bablas to just send the watch back and I would pay the P+P. They did all this quickly and without fuss. I have now sent the watch back to have the new battery installed - a real senior moment but Bablas have been excellent. (read more)

I ordered a Timex replacement watch strap on Friday and it arrived Moinday morning. I didnt request next day delivery but got it anyway. What superb service. And the product was as described and not one o the "replacement" original straps that Timex are now pushing but the original padded leather like the one that originally came wiht the watch. It is a bit disconcerting, sending a treasured quality watch off for repair to someone who you have never dealt with before but I need not have been concerned with Babla's Jewellers. They suggested how I should package and send my watch and informed me when it arrived at their premises. They offered options on the works and undertook my instruction quickly and efficiently, informing me when the works were complete and when they were sending it back to me. “Poor communication and delay in repair”

Although a 7 day turnaround by post is advertised the reality isn't the same. Yes there was 1 day Bank Holiday but it still took 14 days for the watch to be returned after their receipt notification email. Had to send several emails asking for progress. Whilst their emails replies were polite and the price acceptable the advertised 7 day turnaround and the "keeping the customer" informed needs to be improved. (read more)

It took 5 weeks to receive this strap. I had to contact them after two weeks after being told that it should take a few days to receive the watch strap, 5 weeks later and still nothing! I liked the fact i was able to find what i needed on line and once i had complained I did receive some poorly spelt replys, better than nothing though...i suppose. I would recomend getting a strap from a shop rather than using these people. Poor communication and a let down customer who won't be using this... (read more)
